26Detailed setup

Macintosh computers Connecting a Macintosh monitor requires the Polaview VGA/MAC adapter (part number C804) and the existing monitor cable. Use the Polaview adapter only.

1Disconnect your computer-to-monitor cable at the computer end.

2Connect the free end of the monitor cable to the Polaview VGA/MAC adapter.

3Connect the free end of the Mac-to-LCD adapter to the pro- jector VGA OUT connector.

Note: Macintosh users that do not connect an external monitor may need to set Model 305 sense lines to achieve the desired display resolution. See Appendix C: Sense lines for more information.

4Use the Polaview MAC to LCD connector cable (part number C802-6) to link the projector to the computer. Connect the end marked LCD to the projector COMPUTER IN connector, and the end marked COMPUTER to the computer video out- put connector.
