| You can move the Draw toolbar to another spot on the pro- |
| jected image. Click and hold the title bar of the toolbar, drag |
| it to a new location, and release the button. See Program- |
| ming the remote control later in this chapter, for more infor- |
| mation. |
| When you finish using the Draw tool, click the close box in |
| the upper left corner of the Draw toolbar. |
| If you use Draw features frequently, consider programming |
| either the PROG 1 or PROG 2 key, so you can open the Draw |
| tool quickly with the press of a key. |
Setting the timer | The Polaview Model 305 Projector includes a break timer, |
(for intermission) | for lunch breaks, intermissions, |
| sions, or any other timed pause. Your audience can see a |
| countdown displayed of the number of minutes remaining. |
| To use the timer, first set the length of the break. Choose |
| Tools, Break Timer Value, then indicate the length of the |
| break, in minutes. You can set a break for up to one hour. |
| After you indicate the length of the break, choose Tools, |
| Break Timer, On to start the timer. To turn the Break Timer |
| off, press the Menu key on the remote or control panel. |
Projecting | The CLEAR key clears the projected image, allowing you to |
transparencies | project transparencies in the middle of your presentation. |
| You can clear to either a white or black background. Press |
| the CLEAR key once quickly to clear to a white background. |
| Press and hold it for at least two seconds to clear to a black |
| background. Press CLEAR again once quickly, to return the |
| projected image. |
| Note: The panel area on the projector is 6 x 8 in., slightly |
| smaller than the panel area of most overhead projectors |
| (typically 8.5 x 11 in.). You must adjust the focus to display |
| transparencies. |
