3Slide the end of the lamp without the thumbscrew into the slot on the left side of the lamp chamber (see below).

4Slide the end of the lamp with the thumbscrew into place, with the glass pinch-off on the lamp pointing up, and tight- en the thumbscrew. Make sure to tighten the thumbscrew as snugly as possible. Pull the lamp to make sure that it is securely seated.

5Close the lamp-chamber door and tighten the captive screw.
