Master Configuration File

Master configuration files contain the following XML attributes:

•APP_FILE_PATH

•CONFIG_FILES

•MISC_FILES

•LOG_FILE_DIRECTORY

•CONTACTS_DIRECTORY

•OVERRIDES_DIRECTORY

•LICENSE_DIRECTORY For example:

Note	A number of sample template files are included with the UC software 3.3.0 release.
	The following templates may be of interest:
	•	h323.cfg
	•	reg-advanced.cfg
	•	video.cfg
	•	sip-interop.cfg

For more information, refer to “Sample Template Files” in the “Configuration Files” appendix of the latest Administrator’s Guide for the Polycom UC Software.

The important parameters for the Polycom VVX 1500 D phone include:

•<voIpProt/>—Specify H.323 protocol, server, gatekeeper, and DTMF signaling parameters.

•<up/>—Specify call routing parameters.

•<video/>—Specify the video call rate.
