6.Mitel Networks VoIP Integration Factors
This section describes the mapping between the emulated Mitel Networks 5220 IP Phone and the NetLink e340/h340/i640 Wireless Telephone.
Voice messaging access
Voicemail access is obtained through the Message key which is assigned on the handset to FCN + 3.
CODECs
The NetLink e340/h340/i640 Wireless Telephone is compatible with the G.711 and G.729a/ab CODECs. There is no setting required on the handset.
DHCP
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a standardized protocol that enables clients to be dynamically assigned with various configuration parameters, such as an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and other critical network configuration information.
