MAINTENANCE
VALVE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT
1)Turn the unit off and allow it to cool down to room temperature.
2)Disconnect the power source and turn off the gas supply to the insert.
3)Open the bottom louver.
4)Remove the door frame by lifting out from the bottom and lift up off the glass door.

8) Remove the base cover by lifting up from the back and maneover out.

5)Remove the glass door.
a)Remove the 2 hooks shown below at the bottom of the glass door.
b)Swing the door out 45o from the bottom and lift up and
out.
6)Remove the burner by undoing the 2 screws shown. Carefully slide the burner to the left. Then lift the burner up and out ensuring not to spill glass crystals.
7)Carefully set aside the burner and glass crystals.
Base Cover
9)Disconnect the ON/OFF connector wires from the valve.
NOTE: For LP units disconnect the DC Sparker ignitor wire from the valve.
