Adjusting the Setting of Registration of the Paper Tray

Follow the procedure below to bal- ance the printing margins to that printed images are centered correctly on the page. You should do this after:

•Replacing the photoconductor unit

•Installing the optional paper tray

The following procedure describes how to adjust the standard tray (Tray 1). You can use the same procedure to adjust the other tray as well.

Important

❒Select the tray with ”Paper Tray” with the operation panel (⇒ P.83),

and then print the configuration page (⇒ P.99).

Note

❒Use A4 or 81/2”×11” paper to print the configuration page.

ATurn on the printer's power switch.

DAfter confirming that "1.Con- fig.Page" is displayed, press {En- ter}.

EPress {Enter} again.

This prints the configuration page.
