❒If the printer has the optional paper feed unit installed, check the all paper trays for misfeeds.

BSlide the paper tray completely into the printer.

Important

❒Be sure to insert the paper tray completely. If not fully inserted, misfeeds might occur, or the front cover might touch the pa- per tray.

COpen the front cover, and then close it to reset the misfeed condi- tion.

ACarefully pull out the misfed pa- per.

Confirm that you do not leave any misfed paper in the printer.

CClose the bypass tray, open the front cover, and then close it to re- set the misfeed condition.

DReload paper into the bypass tray.
