This section explains how to specify original orientation when you are using the machine as a TWAIN scanner.

Setting Original Orientation When Using as a TWAIN Scanner

To correctly display the top/bottom orientation of scanned originals on a client computer, the placement of originals and the settings made in the Scanner Control dialog box must match.

A Open the Scanner Control dialog box.

B Make settings in the [Original Size] area.

The following table shows the relationship between the original orientation and the Scanner Properties dialog box settings:
