WARNING - Risk of Fire
•Clothes dryer installation must be performed by a qualifi ed installer.
•Install the clothes dryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes.
•Do not install a clothes dryer with fl exible plastic venting materials. If fl exible metal (foil type) duct is installed, it must be of a specifi c type identifi ed by the appliance manufacturer as suitable for use with clothes dryers. Flexible venting materials are known to collapse, be easily crushed, and trap lint. These conditions will obstruct the clothes dryer’s airfl ow and increase the risk of fi re.
•To reduce the risk of severe injury or death, follow all installation instructions.
WARNING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION:
•Do not dry items that have been previously cleaned, washed, soaked, or spotted with gasoline, dry cleaning solvents, or other fl ammable or explosive substances. They emit vapors that could ignite or explode. Any material that has been in contact with a cleaning solvent or fl ammable liquids or solids should not be placed in the dryer until all traces of these fl ammable liquids or solids and their fumes have been removed.
There are many highly fl ammable items used in homes, such as acetone, denatured alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, some liquid household cleaners, some spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers
•Do not dry items containing foam rubber (may be labeled latex foam) or similarly textured
