9. Press the STOP button to stop recording.

10. To display the created titles, finalise the disc (See page 76) and then press the TITLE MENU button. The title menu will be displayed.

11. To display the created chapters, select the desired Title and then press the DISC MENU button. The chapter menu for the selected Title will be displayed.

■ On DVD-RW discs, additional chapters and titles can be added to a finalised disc by unfinalising and recording again. On DVD-R discs, once finalised, no additional chapters or titles can be recorded.

■ The Automatic Chapter Creator function does not work during Timer Recording or when you turn the power off.

The DVD-R disc cannot be unfinalised.

Quick Recording

If this function is set to on, the DVD Recorder & VCR will power on quickly, which enables you to immediatedly record a desired channel.

1. With the unit in Stop mode/No Disc mode, press the MENU button.

2. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Setup, then press the OK or ► button.

3. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select System, then press the OK or ► button.

4. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Quick Recording, then press the OK or ► button.

5. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select On, then press the OK or ► button.

■ The Quick Recording is set to Off as default.

If this function is set to on, power consumption will be increased when the unit is powered off.

Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) (DVD-VR355 only)

Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the recorder using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the DVD Recorder & VCR to a SAMSUNG TV using an HDMI Cable. (see page 20) (This is only available with SAMSUNG TVs that support Anynet+.)

1. With the unit in Stop mode/No Disc mode, press the MENU button on the remote control.

2. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Setup, then press the OK or ► button.

3. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select System, then press the OK or ► button. The system menu will be displayed.

4. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Anynet+(HDMI-CEC), then press the OK or ► button.

Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) items will be displayed.

5. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select On, then press the OK or ► button.
