Turn your device on and off

To turn on your device,

1 Press and hold [].

2 If you turn on your device for the first time, follow the on- screen instructions to set up your device.

To turn off your device, press and hold [] and select Power off → OK.

››Set up your Google account

To use applications provided by Google, such as Google Mail, Android Market, and Google Maps, you must have a Google account. If you have not signed in to Google during the initial set-up, set up your Google account as follows.

Open the application list and select Settings → Accounts

and sync.

Select Add account → Google Accounts.

Enter your Email address and password for your Google account and select Sign in.

To create a Google account, select Create account. Follow the on-screen instructions.
