✤The adjustment method is the same procedure as used in CAMERA mode. (see page 31)

Controlling Sound from the Speaker

Réglage du volume du haut-parleur

The Speaker works in PLAYER mode only.

■When you use the LCD screen for playback, you can hear the recorded sound from the built-in Speaker.

- Follow the instructions below to decrease or mute speaker volume in the PLAYER mode.

- Take the following steps to lower the volume or mute the sound while playing a tape

on the camcorder.

1.

Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.

2.

Press

(PLAY/STILL) to play the tape.

3.

When you hear sounds once the tape is in play, use

 

the MENU DIAL to adjust the volume.

■ A volume level display will appear on the LCD. Levels may be adjusted from anywhere between

00 to 19 and you will not hear any sound when <3-2>the volume is set on 00.

■If you close the LCD while playing, you will not hear sound from the speaker.

Le haut-parleur fonctionne uniquement en mode magnétoscope (position PLAYER).

■Lorsque vous visionnez des images sur l’écran LCD, le son est diffusé à partir du haut-parleur intégré.

-Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour diminuer ou supprimer le son du haut-parleur en mode

PLAYER.

-Si vous souhaitez diminuer ou supprimer le son du haut-parleur lorsque vous lisez une bande sur votre caméscope, procédez comme suit :

1.Réglez le commutateur sur PLAYER.

2.Appuyez sur la touche (PLAY/STILL) pour lire la bande.

3.Dès que la lecture commence, réglez le son du haut-parleur à l’aide de la molette MENU.

■Le volume s’affiche alors à l’écran.

Vous pouvez sélectionner le volume sur une échelle allant de 00 à 19. Le son est coupé lorsqu’il est réglé sur 00.

■Si vous fermez l’écran LCD durant la lecture, le haut-parleur est coupé.

Important

■When the cable is connected to the A/V jack, you

cannot hear sound from the camcorder speaker and cannot adjust the volume.

■You can hear sound from camcorder speaker by removing the connected cable from the A/V jack
