Setting Sound

Setting Sound

Used to adjust the sound level between the powerful sound and the faint sound.

1.Press [SETUP/MENU] in the stop mode or No disc. The setup screen appears.

2.Press [a] to select “Sound”.

3.Press [5] or [ENTER].

The Sound screen (DRC) appears.

4, a, 5, b

(DRC: Dynamic Range Control)

 

4.Press [a] or [ENTER].

The submenu (“Std” and “TV”) appears.

5.Press [4] or [5] to select your desired sound type.

TV

Std: Normally set to this position.

TV: When listen to the DVD disc sound using TV’s speaker (connecting the 75 ohm coaxial cable, see page E10), select this submenu “TV”.

6.Press [ENTER].

7.Press [SETUP/MENU] or [RETURN] to close the screen.

Notes:

The DRC function works only during playback of Dolby Digital recorded discs.

The level of DRC may differ depending on the DVD video disc.
