INITIAL SETTINGS

SETTING THE INDEX FUNCTION

You can print an index mark along the edge of the pages in each job. This makes it easy to separate different jobs on the output tray.

Separate faxes with index marks.

Use the following procedure to set the index function:

1Press the [MENU] key.

2Press the [] key ( ) or [] key ( ) until "4:USER PROGRAM" appears, and then press the [ENTER] key.

5Press the [ENTER] key.

6Press the [MENU] key.

Press the [MENU] key to exit.

3Press the [] key ( ) or [] key ( ) until "22:INDEX PRINT" appears, and then press the [ENTER] key.

4Press the [] key ( ) or [] key ( ) to select "1:ON" or "2:OFF".
