Loading paper in other trays

Tray 1 and Tray 2

To change the paper size of tray 1 and tray 2, see "TRAY SETTINGS FOR TRAY 1 AND TRAY 2" in the User's Guide.

Gently pull out the paper tray.

Tray 1

Raise the paper guide.

Insert the paper with the print side face down.

Tray 2

Raise the paper guide.

Insert the paper with the print side face down.

Return the paper guide to its original position after loading the paper.

Fan the paper well before inserting it. Otherwise, multiple sheets may feed at once and cause a misfeed.

Use both hands to place the paper from right overhead so that it does not fold. Folds in the paper will cause misfeeds.

Indicator line

The indicator line indicates the maximum

Paper guideheight of the paper that can be loaded in the tray. When loading paper, make sure that the stack is not higher than the indicator line.

Gently push the tray into the machine.
