The answering machine

Recording conversations

You can record your telephone conversations during calls. You can then play back the conversation recordings as you would recorded messages (➔ page 48).

This option is only available for external calls.

Please ask the person you are speaking to for permission to record the conversation.

Starting/terminating recording

Press keys on handset. On/off key on base station flash- es. The display on the handset shows the following for two seconds:

f N b F

The conversation is recorded.

To finish recording, press the keys again. The display on the handset shows the following for two seconds:

f N b F

Conversations can also be recorded with the open listening function (➔ page 11).
