z SSID (Service Set Identifier)

“SSID” is a name that identifies a wireless network. Access points and wireless clients attempting to connect to a specific WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) must use the same SSID. The default setting is "default".

Note: The maximum length of SSID is 32 single-byte characters.

z Wireless mode

Click on the pull-down menu, and you can see the following options:

“Infrastructure”

 

The device is connected to the WLAN via an Access Point (the default

 

setting).

“Ad-Hoc”

 

The device is connected directly to a host equipped with a wireless adapter in

 

peer-to-peer mode.

“Channel”

 

While in Infrastructure mode, the channel will be set automatically to the same

 

channel setting of the selected Access Point. While in Ad-Hoc mode, the
