9.13Application settings
This section explains how to configure the network camera to react in response to particular situations. A typical application is that when a motion is detected, the network camera sends buffered images to a FTP server or via
1.Open the CCIC1410 Homepage (see chapter 9.1).
2.Choose the Configuration menu.
3.On the left hand side, choose the menu item Application.
4.Choose the desired settings.
5.Click Add or Delete.
In the illustration above, an event can be triggered by many sources, such as motion detection or external digital input devices. When an event is triggered, you can specify what kind of action will be performed. You can configure the network camera to send snapshots or videos to your email address or FTP site.
To configure an event, it is recommended to configure the server and media settings first so that the network camera will know what action shall be performed when a trigger is activated.
