3. Prepare for printing.

3-1 Use the print command “lp”.

#lp -d pboxlp <Name of print file>

4.Cancel the print request.

4-1 Use the “cancel” command to cancel the current print job request.

#cancel pboxlp- <job number>

5.Check the printer status

5-1 Use the “lpstat” to verify the printer status.

# lpstat -p pboxlp

NOTE

-Depending on UNIX specification, the command may fail to display the printer status correctly.
