This unit can control a SIRIUS Satellite Radio tuner (sold separately).

When the SIRIUS tuner is used together with this unit, some operations differ slightly from those described in the SIRIUS operation man- ual. This manual provides information on these points. For all other information on using the SIRIUS tuner, please refer to the SIR- IUS operation manual.

!With this unit, you can operate one addi- tional function: SIRIUS channel direct se- lection. Refer to Selecting a SIRIUS channel directly on this page.

1SIRIUS band indicator

Shows the SIRIUS band which has been selected.

2SIRIUS preset number indicator Shows what SIRIUS preset has been selected.

3SIRIUS channel select setting indicator Shows what channel select setting has been selected. CH is displayed when Channel number is selected, and CAT is displayed when Category is selected.

4SIRIUS channel number indicator Shows to which SIRIUS channel number the tuner is tuned.

5SIRIUS channel name

Shows the channel name of broadcast channel.

1 Press SOURCE to select SIRIUS.	English
Press SOURCE until you see SIRIUS displayed.

2Press BAND to select a SIRIUS band. Press BAND repeatedly until the desired SIR- IUS band is displayed, SR-1, SR-2 or SR-3.

3To perform tuning, push

MULTI-CONTROL left or right.

The channels move up or down step by step. Channels that cannot currently be selected are skipped, and the next channel is selected.

#If you push and hold MULTI-CONTROL left or right, you can increase or decrease channel num- ber continuously.

#You can also perform tuning from a desired channel category. (Refer to Selecting a channel in the channel category on page 47.)

Note

It may take a few seconds before you can hear anything while this unit acquires and processes the satellite signal when you change the source to SIRIUS tuner or select a channel.

Selecting a SIRIUS channel directly

You can select a SIRIUS channel directly by entering the desired channel number.

1Press DIRECT on the remote control. CHANNEL INPUT appears in the display.

2Use 0–9 on the remote control to input

the desired channel number.

# To cancel the input numbers, press CLEAR on the remote control.

3While the input number is displayed,

press DIRECT on the remote control. The entered SIRIUS channel is selected.
