Display Options
You can adjust the brightness and contrast of the Starmate 5’s display to improve its visibility in different lighting conditions..
To change the display’s brightness or contrast:
1Press menu..
2Press the Down button to scroll and highlight Settings and press
the Select button..
3Press the Down button to scroll and
highlight Display Options and press 
the Select button..
4Press the Select button to choose Brightness or press the Down button to scroll and highlight Contrast and press the Select button..
5Press the Left or Right button to decrease or increase the brightness/contrast of the display..
6Press the Select button to confirm the setting..
7Press and hold menu to exit..
