INSTALLATION
GENERAL	This chapter describes the batteries (how to connect and
	charge) and how to connect the clip to the back of your
	portable.

BATTERIES	Your portable is supplied with either a standard battery or an
	optional, high capacity battery.

Connecting the
Battery	Attach the battery to the portable as shown in the figure below.

Note: Because the status of a newly received battery is uncertain, always charge it to ensure that you have sufficient talk and standby time.
