The Help is an on-screen version of this Operating Guide. You can review many features of the DIRECTV® HD Receiver by navigating through a simple structure. It contains a brief overview of the DIRECTV HD Receiver, the use and programming of the remote control, a functional expla- nation of the front and back panel, and an instructive note about the Menu and the Advanced Program Guide™.

The see the Help feature:

1.Press the “HELP” button on the remote control to display the Help screen.

2.Scroll up and down to select Help menu items using “E” on the remote control.

3.Move the highlight using “DEFG”.

The explanations of the highlighted item will be displayed on the right side or at the bottom of the screen.

4.Press the EXIT button on the remote control if you want to return to TV viewing.
