Audio dubbing This feature lets you record over the normal audio track. The monaural
sound previously recorded is replaced while the original hi-fi sound
remains unchanged. Use this feature to add music to a tape you have
recorded with a camcorder.
Before you start dubbing…
Press VHS TUNER.
If the TV doesn’t turn on, turn it on manually.
Press VHS TUNER again if connected with a EURO-AV (Scart)
cable.
If connected with a EURO-AV (Scart) cable, the TV is automatically
set to VCR reception.
If connected with only the antenna cable, set the TV to the VCR’s
programme position manually.
Do not use the remote commander in the following procedure.
1Insert a prerecorded tape with its
safety tab in place into this
(recording) VCR.
Search for the end of the section
to be dubbed and press P PAUSE.
2Press COUNTER RESET on this unit
to reset the counter to
“0H00M00S.”
3Rewind the prerecorded tape to
the beginning of the section to be
dubbed.
The unit’s VCR pauses.
4Insert a source tape, MD, CD, etc.
into the playback component
connected to the unit.
5Press AUDIO repeatedly to select
the input (playback) source.
6Search for the point to start
playback and set it to playback
pause.
7Press AUDIO DUB.
The audio dubbing indicator appears
in the display window.
