Itis also possibleto load paper manually while the printer’s power is —

off.The procedure is:

Checkthatprinter poweris off and the release leverat the back of the –

printer is down.

Insert asinglesheet of paper into the entry slot as far as it will go,the –

sameway as for semiautomatic loading.

Move the bail lever on top of the printer forward to open the paper -

bail.

Turn the platen knob clockwiseuntil the front edgeof the paper comes

out from under the top cover.

If the paper is not straight, move the releaselever to the up position,

straighten the paper by hand, then move the releaselever back down.

Move the baillever back to close,the paper bail. —
