There is an abundance of commercialsoftware available: spreadsheet
programs, word-processingprograms, graphics programs, and more. This

The installation program usuallyoffers amenu of printers from which
to choose.If you find this printer on the menu, select it.
Ifthis printer isnot listed, lookfor the Epson LX-800 orIBM Proprinter
II. If theseare not listed, look for another Star, Epson or IBM printer. A
fewof the choices you may seeare given below in order of preference:

Somemenus are less explicitabout model names but offer general de-

or “Standard printer”. Any of theseselectionsshould work. If you are not
sure of the right selection,it does not hurt to experiment. If you choose
wrong, you will get strange printing results, but don’t worry; just try a
