Semiautomatic loading

Singlesheets can be loaded manually with power off, or semiauto-

matically with power on. We willstart the easy way with semiautomatic

1. Checkthat the release leverisdown and the bail leverback (bail closed),

then switchpower on. You will hear ashort beep tone and the Power

indicatoron the controlpanel willflash.These arethe printer’spaper-out

signals.

2. Placeasingle sheeton the paper guide and insertit down into the entry

slot. You will feel aslightresistance as the paper engages the paper

detector lever.Work the paper past this resistance and insert it down

as far as it willgo.

3. Move the bail lever forward. When the bail opens, the printer feeds

the paper automatically.

4. Move the bail leverback, The paper will feed slightly forward again,

endingin position to print with atop margin of about one inch.
