5-4-3PISTON AND CONNECTING, ROD

(1)When installing the piston on the connecting rod,

placethevalvercess of thepistoncrown as I"MAG"SIDE shown in the illustration to the "MAG" side of the

connecting rod.

Apply oil to the small end of the connecting rod, piston and piston pin before installation.

Be sure to use clips on the both end of the piston pin to secure thepin in position.
