Check the followings for lackof sparks.
(1)Wires of the ignition coil, spark plugor contact breaker disconnected.
(2)Ignitioncoildamagedandshorted.
(3)Spark plug cable wet or soaked with oil.
(4)Spark plug dirtyor wet.
(5)Spark plug electrode gap incorrect.
(6)Spark plug electrodes are connectedor bridged.
(7)Incorrect spark timing.
Incorrect spark plug electrodge gap. Adjust it to anywhere between0.6 and 0.7mm. Ignition cable worn and leaking.
Sparks weak.
j.lj Ignition wire connections loose.
(5)Water in gasoline.
(6)Insufficient compression.
(1)Fuel tank empty. Water, dirt, gum, etc. in gasoline.
(2)Vapor lock, i. e., gasoline evaporatingin the fuel lines due to overheat around the engine.
(3)Vapor lock in the fuel lines or carburetor due to the useof too volatile winter gas in thehot season.
(4)Air vent hole in the fuel tank cap plugged.
(5)Bearing parts seized due to lackof oil.
(6)Magneto or ignitioncoilfaulty. ,
104ENGINEOVERHEATS
(1)Crankcase oil level low. Add oil immediately.
(2)Spark timing incorrect.
(3)Low grade gasoline is used, or engine is overloaded.
