4.1Alarm Setup
This section provides the procedures for setting up various alarms. The alarm menu enables/disables internal and external alarms. Note that the Distress/Urgency alarm cannot be disabled.
Old position alarm in manual position entry mode
This alerts the operator when manually entered position data is older by the number of hours or minutes set.
1.Press the MENU key.

2. ALARM is selected; press the ENT key to display the ALARM menu.

3.Rotate the CH knob (or press up / down arrow key) to choose POSITION OLDER (POS. OLDER for remote handset) from the ALARM MENU and press the ENT key. The following settingwindow appears.
4.Rotate the CH knob (or press up / down arrow key) to choose an appropriate value and press the ENT key.
Alarm is output when position is older by the number of hours set here.
5.Press the CANCEL key twice to return to the standby display.
