X9DRG-HF/X9DRG-HTF Motherboard User’s Manual

Fan Headers

This motherboard has twelve fan headers on the motherboard. Fans 1~4 are for CPU/system use and Fans A~H for GPU use. All these 4-pin fans headers are backward compatible with the traditional 3-pin fans. However, fan speed control is only available for 4-pin fans via IPMI thermal management. See the table on the right for pin definitions.

Chassis Intrusion

A Chassis Intrusion header is located at JL1 on the motherboard. Attach an appropriate cable from the chassis to inform you of a chassis intrusion when the chassis is opened.
