Getting Started

880A03 TekConnectProbe Interface Module Instruction Manual

The TekConnectprobe features a spring-loaded latch that provides audible and

tactile confirmationthat a reliable connection has been made to the TekConnect

Probe InterfaceModule.

NOTE. It is not necessary to power off the sampling oscilloscope when removing

or installing a TekConnectprobe.

Toconnect a TekConnect probe to the TekConnect Probe InterfaceModule,

performthe following tasks:

1. Slide the probe into the TekConnect receptacl e on the TekConnectP robe

InterfaceModule. The probe snaps into the TekConnect Probe Interface

Module when fully engaged. See Figure 6.

2. Torelease the probe from the TekConnect Probe Interface Module, grasp the

compensation box, pressthe latch button, and pull out on the probe.
