18 80A03 TekConnectProbe Interface Module Instruction Manual
Toset up the TekConnect Probe Interface Module to trigger CSA8000 and
TDS8000 Series Oscilloscopes, do thefollowing:
1. Remove the semi-rigid cablethat connects the CH B TekConnectProbe
InterfaceModule to the sampling module. See Figure 8 on page 15.
2. Use a 0.5 m SMA cable to connect the 6 dB (2X) power divider to the
disconnectedC H B SMA connector on the TekConnectProbe Interface
Module. See Figure 11.
3. Use a 0.5 m SMA cable to connect th e disconnected port on the sampling
module to one side of the 6 dB (2X) power divider.See Figure 11.
4. Use a 0.5 m SMA cable to connect the other side of the power divider to the
sampling oscilloscope triggerinput (Trigger Direct or Trigger Prescaled).
5. Attach a TekConnecttrigger probe to CH B on the TekConnect Probe
InterfaceModule. See Figure 11.
