OMEGA is a fully integrated package consisting of a 3 Watt cellular transceiver, telephone-line interface, low-profile antenna, 90 to 264VAC power supply, and maintenance-free, rechargeable power back-up battery. The enclosure is made from impact- resistant polycarbonate and is NEMA 4X certified.

The following list summarizes OMEGA’s features.

cTelephone-line interface emulation for an endpoint device equipped with an internal modem.

cOptional 8-port module for connecting up to eight endpoint devices equipped with an internal dial-line modem.

cCellular transceiver for providing an analog channel to a modem at the host location.

cLarge-capacity rechargeable battery for providing back-up power to the cellular transceiver.

cHigh-isolation voltage power-supply unit (8 K Volts).
