Deleting Phone Content
Use the Security menu to quickly delete all the content
you have created orstored in yourphone.
1. Press >Settings> More... > Security >
Delete/Reset.
2. Highlight an option and press .
nDelete Web Cookiesto delete all Web cookies (data
saved in yourphone by sites you have visited).
nDelete Web Historyto delete all saved Web
addresses of sites you have visited.
nDelete Web Cacheto delete all Web page
information saved in yourphone.
nDelete Contactsto delete all of yourContacts
entries.
nDelete My Stuffto delete all items you have
downloaded to yourphone.
nDelete Photosto delete all pictures saved in your
phone.
nDelete Voice Datato delete all voice data and call
memos saved in the phone.
nDelete Messageto delete all messages (including
locked ones)in yourphone and entries in the
Recent List, and to reset all preset messages.
nDelete CalendarEvents to delete all scheduled
events (including secret ones).
3. Read the disclaimerand press > YES (left
softkey
).
Resetting YourPhone and DeletingStored Data
This option lets you cleardifferent types of personal
information stored on yourphone, reset yourphone to
factory settings, orboth.
1. Press >Settings > More... > Security >
Delete/Reset.
2. Highlight an option and press .
nReset Browserto clear your Web browser’shistory,
favorites (bookmarks), cookies, errorlog, auto-
complete text, and URLs.
nReset Picture Mailto clear yourauthentication ID for
yourSprint PictureMail account.
nReset All Settingsto restore all the factory default
settings. Contacts, history, calendar, and
messages are not affected.
nReset Phoneto reset all settings and delete all data
on yourphone.
