GPS Services

Yourphone’sbuilt-in GPS capability gives you access to

anumberof location-based services, including

SprintNavigation and Sprint Family Locator.

Activating the Location Feature

Before using any of the location-based services, you

must activate yourphone’s location feature.

1. Press >Settings > More...> Location.(You will see

the Location disclaimer.)

2. Readthe disclaimer and press .

3. Select On.

When the Location feature is on, yourphone’s standby

screen will display the icon. When Location is turned

off, yourphone will display the icon.

Note Turning Location on will allow the networkto detect

yourposition using GPS technology, making some

Sprint applications and services easierto use.

Turning Location offwill disable the GPS location

function forall purposes except 911, but will not

hide yourgeneral location based on the cell site

serving yourcall. No application or service may use

yourlocation without your request orpermission.

GPS-enhanced 911 is not available in all areas.
