Pairing Bluetooth Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish
trusted connections between yourphone and another
Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey is
shared between devices, allowing forfast, secure
connections while bypassing the discovery and
authentication process.
1. Press >Tools > Bluetooth.
2. Highlight an option and press .
nHandsfree Pairingto find a headset or hands-free
device.
nAdd to Trustedto find a device perdevice type.
Select a device type to be searched.
nTrusted Listto find all device types. Select Add New
to start searching.
3. Highlight a device and press .
4. Enterthe passkey and press . When the ownerof
the otherdevice enters the same passkey, the
pairing is complete.
Trusted List Options
Once you have created paired devices, several options
are available from the trusted list.
1. Press >Tools > Bluetooth >Trusted List.
2. Highlight a device and press OPTIONS(right softkey)
to display the following options:
nConnector Disconnect to connect to or disconnect
from the Bluetooth device (if applicable).
nSend Itemto send an item saved on yourphone to
anotherBluetooth device (if applicable).
nPrintto print an item using a Bluetooth-enabled
printer(if applicable).
nEdit Nameto edit the name of the trusted device.
nAuto-Acceptto configure your phone’s accessibility
to otherBluetooth devices.
Note Due to different specifications and features ofother
Bluetooth compatible devices, display and
operations may be different, and functions such as
transferorexchange may not be possible.
