5 Close the transport guide and the fuser unit cover. Push up the fuser pressure release lever to return the jam releasing unit cover, the automatic duplexer and the bypass tray to the original positions.

1 Make sure that the bypass tray and the automatic duplexer are open, then open the jam releasing unit cover.

DO NOT touch the fuser unit and the metal area around it. Since they are very hot, you could be burned or the shock could cause an injury to your hand in the equipment.
