Entering Upper and Lower Case Letters

The default case is lower case (abc). Enter upper and lower

case alphabet letters by pressing Shift to toggle the case, before touching the letter key(s).

Press once to switch from abc to Abc mode

Press twice quickly to switch to ABC mode, then press again to return to lower case.

Entering

To enter numbers, press the number keys at the top of the QWERTY keyboard.

Entering Symbols

To enter common symbols, press Function, then press a key to enter the orange character on the keys.

Using Predictive text

By using Predictive text, you can have next-letter prediction and regional error correction, to compensate for pressing the incorrect keys, or to enter a word after a few key presses.

Note: Enable Predictive text in Samsung keyboard settings. For more information, see “Samsung keyboard” on page 147.

While entering characters, potential word matches display in the Predictive text area at the bottom of the screen. Touch a word to insert it into your text.
