2. Internet Status
This section provides detail s of the Interne t connecti on (3G connection) provi ded by
the MiFi 220 0. If no Interne t connectio n currentl y exists, most of the fields will be
empty or zero.
• Received - For the current Int ernet connection, the amount of data
receive d.
• Transmitted - For the current Interne t connecti on, the amount of data
transmitted.
• Connection Time - For the current Inte rnet connec tion, the peri od of time
which has elapsed since the conne ction was established.
• IP Address - The Interne t IP address assigned to this MiFi 22 00.
• Mask - The network mask associated with the IP addre ss above.
• Gateway - The gateway IP address associated wit h the IP address above.
• DNS - The Domain Name Server curr ently used by this MiFi 22 00.
3. WLAN
The WLAN section contains detail s of the Wirele ss LAN, also called Wi-Fi network or an
802.11 network.
The following data is presente d.
• Profile - The Wireless (802.11 ) profile curr ently in use. There are 3 possible
profiles; each has its own settings. Once you login, you can change the
profile in use.
• Network Name - The network name (SSID) used by the curre nt Wi-Fi
profile.
• Security - The security method used by the cur rent Wi-Fi profil e.
• Users - The number of users (wire less client s) connected to this Mi Fi 2200,
and the number of wirele ss clients allowe d. This is presented in the for m
"number connecte d / number allowed" .
• IP address - The IP address of this MiFi 22 00, as seen by devices on the
WLAN (802.11 wire less networ k).
• Mask - The network mask associated with the IP address above.
