Battery
It takes up to 16 hours for the batter y to be fully charged. When it i s fully
charged, you can expect the follo wing performance:
Operation Operating time
While in handset use (talking*) Up to seven hours
While in speakerphone mode (talking*) Up to ve hours
While not in use (standby**) Up to seven days
*Operating times vary depending on your ac tual use and the age of the battery.
**Handset is not charging or in use.
The battery needs charging when:
A new battery is installed in the handse t.
The handset beeps.
A battery is properly installed and t he screen is blank.
Low battery or Place in charge r shows on the handset screen.

Do not open or mutilate the battery(ies). Released el ectrolyte is corrosive and may
cause burns or injury to the eyes or skin. The ele ctrolyte may be toxic if swallowed.
Exercise care in handling batteries in or der not to create a short circuit with
conductive materials.
Charge the battery(ies) provided with or ide ntied for use with this product o nly in
accordance with the instructi ons and limitations specied i n this manual.
Observe proper polarity orient ation between the battery and met allic contacts.
To prevent re or shock hazard, do not expose this produc t to water or any type
of moisture.
