6	Top Bracket
Tools Needed:	Align upper-center hole of top bracket
	base with #6 hole in the end stile (See end
Power Drill
	stile hole layout). Secure with
7/16” Socket	(1) 1/4”- 20 x 7/8” self drilling screw.
	Ensuring top bracket is level and aligned
Driver
	with edge of section. Permanently fasten
	top bracket with (4) 1/4”- 20 x 7/8” self
	drilling screws, one in each corner of the
	top bracket base.
	Remove the 1/4”- 20 x 7/8” self drilling
	screw installed in the upper-center hole of
	the top bracket base.
	Loosely hand tighten top bracket slide
	to base with (1) 1/4”- 20 x 5/8” carriage
	bolts and (1) 1/4”- 20 flange hex nuts.
	Insert roller and repeat for other side.
	NOTE: For doors with a glazed top section
	(windows). Top strut may be mounted
	between #2 and #6 holes before top
	bracket is installed. See step 8 for U-Bar
	installation.

7	Step Plate	bottom	bottom
		section	section
Tools Needed:	Locate the center most stile on the
Pencil	bottom section of the door. Using the
	pre-punched holes at the bottom of
Power Drill	the stile as a template, drill (2) 7/32”
	dia. holes through the section. Using
5/16” Drill Bit	the previously drilled holes as a guide,		OUTSIDE
	enlarge the holes from outside the door	OUTSIDE	STEP PLATE
Phillips	to 7/16” diameter. Assemble the outside	STEP PLATE
Screwdriver	and inside step/lift plates to the section
	using (2) #8 x 1-5/8” screws.	Step Plate Outside
	NOTE: Do not drill through or enlarge	bottom	bottom
		section
	holes on the inside of the door.		section
