Maintenance Works

Every 200 operating hours	21	Clean the lint filter.
	22	Check wheels for wear and tear.

1Check battery poles for oxidation.

2Check fastening of the battery poles.

3Check the acid level in the batteries (only for maintenance-free batteries).

4Check current-carrying lines and con- tacts for damages and oxidation

23Check the mechanics for raising and lo- wering the chassis for proper functioning.

24Check all functions during a test run.

Every 400 operating hours

5Check control handle to see that it is ac- cessible and is functioning correctly.

6Check voltage of battery cells when the vacuum turbine is running (DU £ 0.15 Volt).

7Check brushes for proper rotating direc- tion, setting and wear and tear (brush le- vel).

1Check carbon brushes in brush drive and suction turbine (and also in the drive mo- tor) for wear and tear; replace carbon brushes, if required.

2Replace pump hose of the metering pump .

Every 800 operating hours

8Check drive belts of the brushes for ten- sion and wear and tear.

9Clean air let grid in the cleaning head.

10Check water metering valve, solenoid valve and water distribution.

11Check to see that the water system is leak-proof - especially the screw joints of the fresh water tank/ dirty water tank.

12Check vacuum motor/ squeegee tool for proper functioning.

13Check squeegee blades for setting and wear and tear.

14Check the float in the dirty water tank and its functioning.

15Check vacuum hose to see it is leak- proof.

16Check dirty water drain hose to see it is leak-proof.

17Check fill level/ draning hose for fresh water with angular tap at the lower end to see it is leak-proof.

18Clean the water distribution strip (only Saber Compact 22 SP).

19Clean and check the sweeper container (only Saber Compact 22 SP).

20Check washers of the tank lid.

1 Replace geared belt in the brush head.
