Cleaning the Cartridge Carrier Contacts
1Lift the scanner module. Lift the cartridge compartment lid/support up so the scanner module rests on the top edge of the lid/support.
2 Press the Menu button until the code U01 appears in the Display.
3Press Start.
4Unplug the power cord from the rear of the WorkCentre.
5Remove both ink cartridges.
6Use a CLEAN, LINT FREE, DRY CLOTH to clean the ink cartridge carrier contacts on the back wall of the carrier.
7Reinstall the ink cartridges.
8Close the cartridge compartment lid/support and the scanner module.
9Plug the power cord into the WorkCentre.
10Test the ink cartridges by running the Clean Print Head procedure. If the print quality is still unacceptable, contact your local Xerox Helpline.
