Use this feature to designate the input mode for sources connected to the DIGITAL INPUT jacks when you turn on this unit.

Select “Auto” if you want this unit to automatically detect input signal types and select the appropriate input mode.

Select “Last” if you want this unit to automatically select the last input mode used for the connected source.

Selecting “Last” does not recall the last setting for the EXTD. SUR button.

Memory Guard (Memory Guard)

Use this feature to prevent accidental changes to DSP program parameter values and other system settings. Manual Setup > Option > Memory Guard Choices: Free, Guard

Note

In general, front panel and remote control operations are not affected by “Guard” functions. However, you cannot adjust the tone control using TONE CONTROL.

SYSTEM OPTIONS

System Memory

This feature allows you to save up to six of your favorite settings that can be easily recalled when needed. You can save settings such as the following:

Sound field program parameters

Speaker settings

Speaker channel settings

LFE level

Dynamic range settings

Parametric equalizer settings

To save settings

1Set AMP/SOURCE/TV to AMP.
