2.3.2 Removing MSC and Line Cards
Use the following procedure to remove management switch cards and line cards from the main chassis.
1Disconnect all cables from the card.
2Loosen the two thumbscrews.
3Pull the two ejector levers firmly until the front of the card is clear of the main chassis. Pull the ejector levers until they are perpendicular to the front panel.
Note: The MSC has more connector pins than the other cards so when removing it you need to exert more force to get the front of the MSC clear of the main chassis.
4Grasp the center of the front panel of the card with one hand and place the other hand under the card to support it.
5Slide the card out of the slot.
