4Enter Y and wait for the “Starting XMODEM upload” message before activating XMODEM upload on your terminal.

5This is an example Xmodem configuration upload using HyperTerminal. Click Transfer, then Send File to display the following screen.

Type the firmware file's
location, or click Browse to
search for it.
Choose the 1K Xmodem protocol.
Then click Send.
6Wait for about three and a half minutes for the Xmodem upload to finish.

7Enter atgo. The NXC starts up. If “Connect a computer to port 1 and FTP to 192.168.1.1 to upload the new file” displays on the screen, the firmware file is damaged and you need to use the procedure in Section 35.10 on page 234 to recover the firmware.
