6.5 Port Role Commands

The following table describes the commands available for port role identification. You must use the configure terminal command to enter the configuration mode before you can use these commands.

COMMAND		DESCRIPTION
show	port type	Displays the type of cable connection for each physical
		interface on the device.
show	module type	Display the type of module for each physical interface on
		the device.
