The following table describes the fields in this screen.

Mode | Select Routing (default) from the |
| address only and you want multiple computers to share an Internet account. Select |
| Bridge when your ISP provides you more than one IP address and you want the |
| connected computers to get individual IP address from ISP’s DHCP server directly. If |
| you select Bridge, you cannot use Firewall, DHCP server and NAT on the ZyXEL |
| Device. |

Encapsulation | Select the encapsulation type your ISP uses from the Encapsulation |
| box. Choices vary depending on what you select in the Mode field. |
| If you select Bridge in the Mode field, select either PPPoA or RFC 1483. |
| If you select Routing in the Mode field, select PPPoA, RFC 1483, ENET ENCAP or |
| PPPoE. |

Multiplexing | Select the multiplexing method used by your ISP from the Multiplex |
| box either |
|
|
Virtual Circuit | VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) and VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier) define a virtual circuit. |
ID | Refer to the appendix for more information. |

VPI | Enter the VPI assigned to you. This field may already be configured. |

|
VCI | Enter the VCI assigned to you. This field may already be configured. |

Back | Click this to return to the previous screen without saving. |

Next | Click this to continue to the next wizard screen. The next wizard screen you see |
| depends on what protocol you chose above. |
